Arkadia Works for Education – Scholarships
“As the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic bring the worldwide economic crisis in various sector, Arkadia Works pay attention to the education sector in Indonesia, especially for university students that need financial support for the living cost.” July 2020.
Arkadia Works believes that business is not only gaining profits but also creating an impact on society. One of our responses to this situation is we launch the Scholarship titled “Arkadia Works for Education”, with the aim to provide financial support for the living cost to the students of Architecture & Interior Design background in Indonesia.
We select a number of Architecture & Interior Design students from various universities to receive the living cost scholarship. We also offer the extension of scholarships for the students who maintain their accomplishments in the next semester.
Meet Trisna and Aminah. Both of them are among the students who received the scholarship from this program.
Trisna Dwi Putri Novitabella is a student in the Departement of Architecture, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). She’s from Tegal. She occupied several positions on campus such as Chief of Education Departement in Interior Design Student Association (IMDI) 2020-2021, Chief of Creative Division ITB Campus Radio 2019, and Chief of Introduction to Interior Design Studies (PSDI) 2019.
She is also the best student at her major in 2020 and selected as one of the students who can get fast tract study.
Aminah Muthmainnah is a student in the Departement of Architecture-Interior, University of Indonesia. She is from Jakarta. She occupied several positions on campus such as Executive Board Research and Development in Architecture Students Association (IMA) Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia (FTUI) 2018, Vice-chief of Division 2 Research and Development in Architecture Students Association (IMA) Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia (FTUI) 2019, and Chief of 2020 Department Research and Development in Ukhuwah and Islamic Studies Forum (FUSI) Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia (FTUI) 2020.
She has also some accomplishments such as the winner of the TC Theater, Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia (FTUI) Competition in 2019, 3rd place in the UI Archicare Competition 2019, and 3rd place in Student Creativity Program – Community Service, Student Scientific Olympiad (PKM-M OIM) Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia (FTUI) 2020.
It is true happiness for us to be useful to other people. We wish that this program can gain a more positive impact not only to support the students but also to inspire other companies to support others in this pandemic era.
