A COMMITMENT TO A GREENER FUTURE
Continuing the “One Desk One Tree” initiative launched in 2022, Arkadia Works reinforces its commitment to environmental conservation by planting a tree for every desk produced in its projects. This effort aligns with the company’s mission to integrate sustainability into various aspects of operations, enhancing the functionality and environmental impact of office spaces.
To date, the program has planted thousands of trees across Indonesia, including in Semarang, Demak, Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, and Bekasi. These efforts reflect Arkadia Works’ dedication to eco-conscious approaches in Office Interior Jakarta projects, combining design excellence with environmental care.
In collaboration with strategic partner LindungiHutan, Arkadia Works and Ecobuild Green Building Consultant planted mangroves at Kartika Jaya Beach, Kendal, an area severely impacted by coastal erosion caused by waves and storms. This initiative highlights a focus on protecting communities and promoting greener ecosystems. Similar strategies are implemented in Office Renovation Jakarta and Office Design Jakarta, where innovation meets sustainability.
Since 2009, Kartika Jaya Beach has faced severe erosion, with 30 hectares of land lost, escalating to 380 hectares by 2014. The mangrove planting initiative aims to combat erosion, protect nearby communities from flooding, and restore the local ecosystem—goals that align with Arkadia Works’ principles in Office Fit Out Jakarta to create resilient and sustainable workspaces.
Partnering with LindungiHutan and local residents, Arkadia Works and Ecobuild Green Building Consultant demonstrate how strategic collaborations foster meaningful environmental action, promoting a greener and more sustainable future.
