Arkadia Works Plants 1000 Mangrove Trees to Reduce Coastal Abrasion!
Abrasion caused a negative impact that threatened the coastal community, especially at Tambakrejo, Semarang, and Bedono Village, Demak, Central Java. Each year, the sea level rises to 3cm, and the land subsidence reaches 25cm/year. In recent 10-20 years, the abrasion has drowned 200 people’s houses at Bedono Village, Demak.
Aligned to the commitment to save the earth, Arkadia Works collaborated with Lindungi Hutan to plant mangrove trees at Tambakrejo, Semarang, and Bedono Village, Demak, Central Java.
In total, 1000 mangrove trees have been planted to support the restoration and maintenance of ecosystems, and also reduce the impact of coastal abrasion and global warming.
Let’s plant more trees to save our future!
